A few things to catch up on!

I’m sorry I know it’s been a while, but It’s been a rather busy past few months. Let’s go through the list in quick succession!

I released a song called Arrested Development! This song is one that’s been in the tuck for a little minute. I wrote the song while dealing with the internal struggle of feeling like I’m not far enough in life (happens often). At this point the music is like therapy haha. The song is drenched in a deep groove and optimism that life gets better. Because I have to believe that always… or else. Hopefully the song brings you peace as it does for me!

Okay after that, I released this song, Cafe Verre! It’s my last release a year and a reflective one. I’m always reflecting, which explains the name of the song. Glass in french, as I’m dropping walls and being transparent. I feel like everyone can relate to life being absolutely cruel at times. However, even more than that, there’s light, there’s positives, and there’s just always something to look forward to. I made this because I refuse to give up. I know there’s a ton of other folk that refuse to quit even when they want to, so I made his for YOU. 🫶🏾

  • An Amazing show!

Okay, there’s no amazing visuals, but I just wanted to say thank you so much for making my December 6th show at Northside Tavern amazing! It went so well. The room was packed out, ya’ll were dancing and I had an absolutely amazing time. Thank you so much for showing out, Grandcouncil. 🫶🏾

Recognized by the Cincinnati Library!

A couple of weeks ago, I (GrandAce) received a surprise notice that I had been added to an installation at the Main Branch Library in Cincinnati. The installation was the "Social Stairs" which is a spotlight of major contributions to music from people with ties to Cincinnati going back multiple generations. This is insaneeeee for me because people are really out there following what's going on??? People outside of ya'll hip cool folk are paying attention to me? It's just wild. Best part is it's there to stay! You can go in a few years and it should still be there. The project of mine that they highlighted was 2022's Orbit City

I say this all the time but here's a tangible example of how your support really does make an impact for me and I am so grateful. Thank you Thank you Thank you!

New music for the summer: Alleycats!

This one is for the dedicated listener! I wrote this song as a way to pull through the looming threats of Quarter-life Crisis. Wrapped in an off kilter, bouncy sound bed, this song will pull you through some rough times if you let it! Everything has been crazy these days so I’m sending you extra love and well wishes! I really appreciate you!
